| Welcome, New Pitsligo is a small village set in the heart of Aberdeenshire and currently has a population of 1060 people. It stands on the eastern slope of Turlundie Hill, 650 feet above sea level and was founded by Sir William Forbes in 1787. In the next twelve pages you will find photograph's both old and new of New Pitsligo and of the people who lived and worked there. There are also photos with stories attached to them, which I am sure you will find very interesting. Some of the stories will tell you of the varied shops and businesses that once were in the village.
